AOD-9604 is a short synthetic peptide of sixteen residues. Fifteen of them reproduce the C-terminal stretch of human growth hormone, residues 177 to 191 of the 191-residue protein; the sixteenth is a tyrosine added at the N-terminus. It is therefore a fragment analogue rather than a modified full-length hormone, and it sits in this catalog with the incretin family for ordering purposes although it is not an incretin sequence.
