Ordering at volume

This line is a high-volume staple, so a standard order ships from stock in a matter of days and a written quote is normally back within the business day. Because the peptide is short and cheap to synthesize, the cost of a finished vial is mostly the vial: glass, stopper, seal, the freeze-drying run and the release testing. That is why the 10 mg fill sits much closer to the 5 mg price than the doubled mass would suggest, and why buyers who want the most material for the fewest vials nearly always take the larger fill.

Tiers apply line by line. A thousand vials of the 10 mg fill reaches the second break on that fill regardless of what the 5 mg fill or any other compound on the order does. The two fill weights of BPC-157 do not pool with each other, and neither counts toward the BPC-157 + TB-500 blend, which is a separate line with its own ladder.

An order of two or three thousand vials can draw on one lot or two; when it is split, the quote says so and each lot has its own certificate. What the material is

BPC-157 is a synthetic peptide of fifteen amino acid residues with a molecular weight of 1,419.556 g/mol. The catalog formula and mass are consistent with an unmodified linear peptide of that length, with no lipid chain, which puts it among the simpler molecules in this catalog to manufacture and to characterize. The mass shown is that of the peptide itself; whatever counter-ion a lot carries is reported on the certificate for that lot rather than folded into the catalog figure.

The vial holds a white to off-white freeze-dried solid, closed with a rubber stopper and a crimped aluminium seal. A good vial shows a single porous cake, or a loose fine powder if the fill was dispensed as a solid, with nothing stuck to the shoulder of the glass. Shrinkage, a glassy film, or a cake that has pulled away from the wall and slumped are signs of moisture ingress or a poor freeze-drying run and should be noted on the receiving record.

Storage and reconstitution

Keep the sealed vial frozen at −20 °C in the dark, and keep it dry. Short spells at refrigerator or room temperature during shipping and receiving do no harm to a lyophilized peptide that is still under seal. For a lab that draws on stock over weeks rather than months, a refrigerator at 2–8 °C is acceptable.

The powder goes into solution quickly in sterile water or in a neutral assay buffer; a short peptide of this kind does not need warming or sonication. The liquid wets the solid without the vial being shaken. The result should be a colourless, clear solution with no haze and no particles.

Once dissolved, keep the solution cold and shielded from light and use it within days rather than weeks. If a portion has to be frozen, split it first so that no aliquot is thawed more than once; repeated freeze-thaw cycles degrade a dissolved peptide faster than steady cold storage.

Buying questions

Which BPC-157 fill weight is the better buy at volume, 5 mg or 10 mg?

The 10 mg fill, for almost every buyer, because most of the per-vial cost is the vial rather than the peptide, so doubling the fill adds much less than double the price. The 5 mg fill makes sense only where a smaller vial is what the receiving lab needs. Both fills reach their tier breaks separately; the pricing page shows the ladder.

Does BPC-157 ordered with the BPC-157 + TB-500 blend count toward one tier?

No. The blend is its own line with its own quantity, so 600 vials of BPC-157 and 600 of the blend are two opening-tier lines, not one volume-tier line. Order the single compound and the blend together freely, but expect them quoted separately.

Will a large BPC-157 order be split across lots?

Not necessarily, and the quote says which. Where a split happens, the quote states the quantities from each lot and COA requests return one certificate per lot.
