What the material is
L-Glutathione, abbreviated GSH, is a tripeptide of glutamic acid, cysteine and glycine in which the glutamate is joined through its side-chain carboxyl, a γ-linkage, rather than through the usual backbone bond. The catalog line is the reduced form, with the cysteine thiol free, at a molecular weight of 307.32 g/mol. The oxidized form, in which two molecules are joined by a disulfide, is a different compound and is not this line.
